Andy knows how to post graphics TCB.  
Bruce comes to defend TCB "regulars"  - - - -  again !!!
Second time for bruce running interference for M. Artz !!!!!!!
Andy and Marty do NOTHING except stir pot with no end in site. . .   GOOGLE ADS revenue on the rise !!!!!!!

T H I S   was  potentially an amazingly revealing exchange.

Marc Purdy of SJ Merc reports that "..Fremont politicians did not even contact NUMMI officials before making their big announcement. "

Artz of Argus feels a need to counter that "Fremont did talk to NUMMI about the land."

But - Artz doesn't even refute the claim of Purdy - he simply  says that NUMMI   WAS    contacted  - he never states WHEN that contact occurred.  So - now the question is  "Why is it important for Artz to state this fact which is largely irrelevant to the original claim ?"  Is he hopeful that Fremont residents will read HIS assertion and conclude "no foul" based on his (irrelevant) statement ?


But what is even more interesting is the fervant responses (along with the usual dose of anecdotal rationalizations) of others - which continues to beg the question, "Why is this issue SOO important ?"

Mr. Noodle in post 16 makes another failed attempt to explain what transpired, infering that "Based on that time line, he  (Diaz) would have had to speak to NUMMI before the 8th of January." but never states clearly what the basis for his conclusion is.  Seemingly, like Artz - Mr Noodle is profering a conclusion aimed at clearing up the question but with no facts - maybe hoping readers wont pay attention ?????  Who knows ?

But it gets even more revealing as the dialogue progresses, in this same post (#16)  Mr. Noodle raises the prospect of cash compensation to Artz - - -    WHAT WAS  T H A T  ? ? ? ? ??    WHY ?   WHO THINKS LIKE THIS ?

And Marty in post 20 raises the prospect of anger and rage in a simple discussion.  Once again  WHY does s/he even consider such a prospect.  This is a *discussion* folks - with simple questions and answers - but consider the very peculiar responses of those involved.

The thought processes of some of those defending the City and its actions are revealing indeed !

If the purpose of the Argus sock puppets was to discuss differences of opinion. . . . . if the concerns about the health of the city were your primary motivator, you'd be relatively ambivalent about where to take your discussion.

That the pro-TCB, pro-City Haul, pro-Fremont A's trolls are (seemingly) stuck in the TCB blog and that they are so obviously fanning the flames of dissention with no intent of dialogue hints at another motive OTHER than topics at hand.  But what can it be ?

Traffic, eyeballs and click-thru's certainly is the most obvious of possible benefits.  

Martz posts the topic;  Marty spews forth random insults and occassional threats peppered with occassional sound thinking (aimed at establishing momentary credibility); random other Ourgas sock puppets pepper the conversations  - - - and with the same result . . . an ensuing diatribe that goes nowhere.   Martz smiles all the way to the Google ad revenue bank.

You'll never take the fight elsewhere because at the end of the day, its the click-thru's and traffic on YOUR web site that is of interest.

That's the only rational explanation I can conceive . .. . .

There are a couple of other possibilities but, these other thoughts center  around questionable intellect and maturity.

Looks like BANG sock puppets have migrated from the Politics board to TCB board.  Too bad mod isnt up to the calling to redirect the discussion to a relevant venue.  I thought this was the "Tri City Beat" .
